Crabtree & Evelyn is an American brand that retails body and home products.

Personally I have never tried Crabtree & Evelyn items before, but have heard many raves about its hand creams. I'm actually quite interested in several of its Rosewater, Summer Hill, and Lily of the Valley products, to add to that the packaging are super gorgeous!

The price is on the steep side though, will be a hugeeeee hole in my pocket if I really caved in and bought them~

Photos I got from ebay:

Reminds me of my Cath Kidston bag.

Kitty with the various floral print ^^

Hmmmm..

Should I pamper myself?

Will you?

Handbag Hooker and Jill Stuart Cafe Bag x SWEET

Got this gorgeous looking handbag hook some time ago as a mother's day gift to my mum <3 Occasionally, she brings it around with her when attending weddings and functions. But most of the time, it just stays in the poor old cupboard. So rather than just letting it sit around and collecting dust, I figured I could put it to better use~ and that is by posting photos of it with various bags/totes that I have xD

Handbag hook with original box and pouch

Details of handbag hook. The 'diamonds' inside are actually fixed, so only the star is slightly movable.

The heart shape of this handbag hook reminds me of the heart on my jill stuart cafe bag. So I took my bag out for a comparison. Aren't they just sweet. ^^

This jill stuart cafe bag was actually the first magazine gift with purchase (gwp) that aroused my curiosity about magazine gwps, and my collection just expand from there. I actually had to hunt this particular bag down from the internet as by the time I know about it, the magazine that it came with (SWEET april 2010) was already all sold out.

My jill stuart cafe bag hanging on my sweet handbag hook.
Hook is quite durable, not sure about the exact amount of weight that it can hold though. So far I've only tried 2-3kg of stuff (that's how heavy my bags normally are lol), and it works fine.

Bag measures 18 x 24 x 7 cm
Quite small so can only hand carry.
Bag is made of polyester and feels like towel material. Doesn't seem to be too water resistant either. Also seems prone to get dirty easily.

This bag is actually quite flimsy and has no padding inside, thus you can't carry too heavy an item while bringing this bag out. Stitching near the handles are also poorly made, feels like they might fall off anytime.

However, despite all the downsides, I still do not regret my decision to buy this bag. Cause it is really cute~!! And it matches with almost any outfit. Need I say more? ^^

Currently , there is only one Jill Stuart Cafe in Japan which is located at Daimaru department store in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. Photos of their uber cuter jill stuart cafe tote bags below!! **Disclaimer: Photos below are not mine. Credits to en.item.rakuten.com and nekodot.jp**

Seeing all those photos just made me lust after a Jill Stuart Cafe Tote Bag even more~!!

What about you? Are you tempted too?

SingPost x Hello Kitty Sanrio

I'm not really a die-hard fan of Sanrio, but seriously who can resist little devil Kuromi, cutie pie My Melody, and mouthless Hello Kitty all add up together in a large envelope laptop case?!?!

Not me~ I have a thing for envelope stuff.

I figured I could always use another laptop case. Ahem **Excuses**

Which is why I went ahead and got this:

Measures 36 x 28 cm, a bit tight and hard to put in, but still fits my 13inch laptop snugglingly. My lappie has finally found its home. **HUGS** so comfy and soft to hug too.

Isn't it just adorable?? It was totally just shouting "Bring me home. Bring me home. " (Maybe I should get a doctor instead, I can hear voices lol)

Anyways, this exclusive collaboration is made in celebration of Sanrio's 50th anniversary between the Singapore Post and Sanrio, therefore it is only available locally.

Photos of leaflet.

They also had a stamp collection which I didn't get cause I'm not into stamps. But they sure look cute!!

More photos of my laptop case:

The huge stamp is just adorable ^^ Haha airmail. To where??

Didn't expect the laptop case to be really shaped like an envelope!! Thought it would be zips like most others. That was a bonus.

But the velcro wasn't as secured as I thought. Keep having the feeling that my laptop might drop out if I didn't hold it with the envelope facing upwards. Only thing I didn't like about :(

The padding inside. Didn't quite like it initially. But I think it's getting to me now.

You can also check out the official press release here.

I got mine at Singapore Airport Terminal 3 Post Office, think was the second last one.

So Sanrio lovers in Singapore, hurry and go grab yours if you haven't got one yet.

My Girl Snow Globe

Been wanting to set up a blog for the longest time now, and finally it is up and running now.  No more talks~ shall let my blog do the talking, on to my very first post!!

------------------------

How many of you have actually watched the 2005 Korean drama My Girl starring Lee Da Hae and Lee Dong Wook? *raises hand*

credits to sbs.co.kr

And I must admit~ it is still one of my very favorite K-drama up to now!
I totally adore LDH's character in here~ love her cheekiness, her constant "Bbashya" and of course, her chemistry with LDW.

And not forgetting the lovely little Precious Moments snow globe that LDW got for LDH for her birthday. (She had no clue when her real birthday is, but since she was born on a snowy day, everyday that snows is her birthday)
I especially love the significance of the snow globe in this drama, my addiction with snow globes also started with this particular globe.

For you to understand its significance, you must first know the storyline of the drama. From DramaWiki:

When Gong Chan (Lee Dong Wook) meets the lively and beautiful Yoo Rin (Lee Da Hae), he finds out that she has connections to his missing cousin, whom his grandfather has been searching for. He asks Yoo Rin to lie about being his long missing cousin until he can find his real cousin. She says yes, but soon their feelings for each other get in the way of their plans. Gong Chan's friend, Jung Woo (Lee Jun Ki) falls for Yoo Rin while Gong Chan's ex-girlfriend, Seo Hyun (Park Si Yeon), a pro tennis player, tries to win him back. Will the two ever tell each other how they feel? Will Gong Chan ever find his real cousin?

So basically, the snow globe symbolizes Yoo Rin's beautiful world that is being covered up by lies.  Snow globe are very fragile, once broken they cannot be fixed back again. Similarly, once her lies have been exposed, her world is also shattered.

My screencaps from Tudou.com

I have searched high and low for this particular Precious Moments snow globe after watching My Girl, but sadly to no avail. It is only until late last year (2010, so 5 years of searching), when I was shopping in the newly opened Precious Thots in Nex in Serangoon, that I chanced upon this lovely piece!

When questioned why this globe is available now, the sales assistant replied that the release date for Precious Moments items are different in USA and Singapore. LOL as if. I guess it must be cause too many people are looking for this globe, so they made more to meet the demands.

Anyway, I'm just glad I got my globe. I grabbed it home with me immediately as a christmas gift to myself, and here it is now sitting as lovely as it is on my table.

Details: The flakes inside seems to represent falling snow. The baby is sleeping so soundly beside the oversized moon. And the little angel who watches over the baby. My little angel is actually facing the outside instead. How cute ^^

Also the bottom of the globe is shaped like clouds. Makes one feel that the snow globe is floating above clouds.  It reads: "My Precious Angel filled with love. A blessed gift sent from above." Aww. Love how it relates to Yoo Rin's famous saying "You'll be blessed." Also plays "Rock A Bye Baby."

Lights on and with its original box.

My Girl DVD and soundtrack. Was told before that the DVD casing looks like a christmas card cause it's super thin. Blurry photo > <

And a night view of my beautiful globe with lights on. Simply stunning <3

I have lots more of snow globes photos to share, but I shall save them for next time.

So with that, ends my first blog entry.
